Diamond Creek is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Diamond Creek, on the Hurstbridge railway line. Diamond Creek station is an unmanned Station in myki Zone 2FacilitiesDiamond Creek is located at the northern end of the Hurstbridge Road level crossing, which also provides station access.The station consists of two side platforms—Platform 1 has a small weatherboard building, while platform 2 has a small steel shelter. A large myki ticket vending machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. There are no Myki machines on platform 2. Disused toilets and a Telstra payphone are located on platform 1.Although the station is not normally staffed, when trains are scheduled to cross at the station (peak times and specials only) Metro Trains staff are required to operate the Staff and Ticket safeworking system used on the line. As of 2008, the points for the crossing loop and all signals are controlled electronically. Previous to 2008 the points were operated by a safeworker, and the up home signal was of the semaphore type.
